Building Blocks is Collider's flagship blockchain conference. The design has to work at every scale, from a 10-meter stage backdrop to a lanyard badge. Year two. The identity needed to evolve from the 2023 edition, not start from scratch.
That distinction matters. Starting over every year means rebuilding brand recognition from zero. A system that evolves means the audience recognizes the event before they read the name.
Updated colour palette and graphic language for the new edition. Brand recognition stayed intact because the underlying system didn't change.
Stage design, directional signage, venue branding. The design reads from across a convention hall and up close on a name tag.
Name tags, banners, branded swag. All produced from the same style guide, all consistent without additional design rounds.
